Off Campus Activities

Community Camp

To expose the realities of life in the local community and encourage student participation in the development of the community, camps are conducted by the college and at times collaboration with NGOs student teachers involve themselves in development activities such as tree planting, road laying and repairing, cleaning public places and creating an awareness on issues affecting the people very much.

Extension Activities

To extend the services of the staff and students to benefit others extension activities are conducted every year Exposures are given to principals / head masters and correspondents of schools and colleges with regard to teacher and staff recruitment. Research scholars are given training in the preparation of research proposals, tools and use of statistics for interpretation of data. Student teachers train the self-help groups in the preparation of useful products such as bathing soap, washing soap, face powder, cleaning powder, scent, phenol, files, etc.

Educational Tours & Fields Trips

The college arranges for educational tours of the student teachers every year in such a way that every student takes efforts to participate and gain valuable experiences. Besides tours, field trips to nearby places related to their subjects of study and general importance lasting for half-a-day or one full day are arranged for the students.
